Sweet Apple Wheat Cinnamon Rolls
Krusteaz Honey Wheat Berry Bread Mix
4 Granny Smith Apples
Cinnamon
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Splenda Brown Sugar
Light Vanilla Soy Milk
Instant Clear Jel
These cinnamon rolls are not only delicious, they are good for you too!  Full of fruit, protein and fiber…breakfast doesn’t get much better than this!
To make things easier, I used a box mix of Honey Wheat Berry Dough, threw it in the bread machine on the dough cycle to get started. (this is not a vegan method due to small amount of nonfat milk in mix, but is still cholesterol free. If you want a vegan roll, you will need to make your dough from scratch.)
I then started my Crockpot Applesauce:
Peel and chop 4 small granny smith apples and put in 5-6 quart crockpot. Add 1/2 TBSP pumpkin pie spice, and 1 TBSP Cinnamon and stir to coat.  Put on the lid and set on low for 6-8 hours.  No extra sugar is needed. Just stir it up after cooking and yummy applesauce is ready!
When your dough and applesauce are done, roll the dough out into a large rectangle and spread out your applesauce on top.
Roll it up and cut into 1/2 inch slices.  Place into a sprayed baking sheet.  Sprinkle a small amount of Splenda Brown Sugar and Cinnamon on top of each.  Cover and let rise once more (about 1 hour) before baking.  Bake at 375 degrees for approx. 20 minutes or until done.

Mix up the icing:
1 cup Light Vanilla Soy Milk
1 1/2 TBSP Instant Clear Jel

Put in blender and mix until smooth.  Drizzle over the top of your warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
